Hollywood Racks Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2020 Jeep Renegade- Video
Hey everybody, welcome to etrailer.com. I'm Bobby and today we're taking a look at the Hollywood Destination Two bike platform rack here on our 2020 Jeep Renegade. Now guys, this can be a nice little way of just getting your bikes to your destination. Now personally, the destination can look a little busy especially if you start looking at four bike platform rack, you can really start seeing these straps just kind of make it a little unsightly on the eyes. However, I think you're gonna really like how well the job it actually clamps on your bike. So, we are having three points of contact on our bike making sure we're gonna have a very nice and stable platform for ourselves to get our bikes there with no trouble at all. more

One of the big questions we get asked all the time in regards to hitch mounted bike racks is if you're still going to be able to have full access to the back of your SUV. Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Renegade- Video
Ryan: Hey everybody, Ryan here at etrailer. Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade, we're going to be taking a look at the Tuli Helium Platform style bike rack. The rack that we have here today on our Jeep, can hold a total of two bikes, but there's a one bike version available as well.With that being said, the big thing that really separates this rack from many of the others is how it's going to secure your bike down. We're going to have two wheel hooks, one on each tire, and that's not something that you see with a lot of these racks. Most of them just have one hook and a small strap, or something like that in the back, so this goes above and beyond to keep your bike nice and secure. And it's also going to work out real well for those of you that have carbon bikes. more

This is going to be able to hold up to four bikes with three tie-down points per bike. It does have this rubberized strap, two up top and one anti-sway cradle at the bottom. This is going to be able to hold up to five bikes with three tie-down points per bike. But the main feature about this bike rack, which makes it really unique, is its ability to tilt away from your vehicle with your bikes installed. You have a little lever right here you push, right here, and it tilts away so you won't have any issues accessing anything in the back of your Renegade.Let's just say you have your helmets, your GoPros, backpacks, maybe even a lunch or two to take on the ride with you. You won't have any issues accessing that with all your bikes installed. more

Yakima SwingDaddy Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Renegade- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade we'll be doing a test fit on the Yakima SwingDaddy 4-Bike Rack. That's part number Y02464. I've already got it loaded up on the Renegade just to give you a good idea of what it looks like, and how it's going to work with our bikes. One of the best features about this bike rack is it has the ability to swing out away from our Renegade so we can gain better access to our rear hatch. What we want to do is we'll start right here at the black lever, go ahead and rotate it around. Get it just loose enough to where we can wiggle it around like so, and then we'll pull up on the pin here and start bringing it out. Come around in front of the bike rack, rotate it out. more

Today on our 2016 Jeep Renegade we're doing a test fit of the Thule T2 Pro Platform Style Bike Rack. That part number is TH9034. Now, we already have our bike secured down, we're going to go over some features, take a few measurements, and show you how our bike is secured down. The first feature I want to show you is our tilting feature, because we can do this with our bike rack fully loaded. We're going to come back here, there's a handle with a grey portion in the center. We're just going to squeeze that together and drop that bike rack down. We're then going to gain full access into our back cargo area. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Jeep Renegade- Video
Today on our 2015 Jeep Renegade we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XC 2 Bike Rack Platform Style, product number is S-6-4-6-5-0. We have a bike on our rack and the rack hooked to our vehicle, I just want to show you a few features. The first feature I'd like to show you is how the bike is connected to the bike rack itself. We have a frame hook here the has our frame connected, we have our wheel cradle in the front and we have a wheel cradle in the back. So I'm going to show you how we have this engaged, so to disengage it you press the button, going to bring this up all the way, press the button and bring up. If you want to engage it you keep going until it stops clicking, once it stops clicking it's secure on your bike rack, you should be good to go. We're going to go ahead and remove it, we're going to take the bike rack off, set this off the the side. Now we're going to take a few measurements just to show you over all distance, closest to our bike rack and our ground clearance. more
